Glamping summary
Anglesey is a land rich in history with its roots in Celtic, Viking and medieval settlers. Separated from the mainland by the Menai Strait the land exhales an aura of Welsh heritage.
The place has not yet embraced the new and popular trend of glamping so to the east Anglesey tipi and yurt are one of the only few places to experience a luxury camp.
This campsite is run by the duo of Charlie and Ela who always look for ways to grow the place as a beautiful and fun experience for the glampers.
Outside if you follow the Isle of Anglesey coastal path you could explore the stunning coastline, or hop onto a Puffin island cruise for a more unique perspective.
For food and drink the Menai bridge is the perfect hub for food lovers with heaps of local producers and monthly farmers market.
Glamping description
Set in a private area surrounded by the woodland, the cherry tipi is a very beautifully designed tent with enough space for four to stay comfortably. With coir matting on the floor and a chiminea in the central part, furnished with a double futon and two single futons set with fluffy cushions and soft linen the place has a lot to offer in terms of comfort.
The tipi also has a dedicated cooking space that is fully equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery washing set and glasses. To cook one could use the wood burning stove or the barbecue grill using the wood that is provided. firewood, barbecue charcoal, cots and ice packs can be bought from the facilities store.
There also is a communal dining area where one could eat and enjoy with the group or socialize with the other guests glamping in the area. There are compost toilets provided on-site for guests to use and apart from the rest there are two flush toilets and two showers that are installed in a wooden cabin around 150 meters from the site near the car park.
The glamping here would be a fun and enjoyable experience here if one would like to embrace the land that once belonged to viking culture and admire the beauty of the landscape. Weather you happen to be glamping with family friends kids your romantic partner or just yourself its sure to offer you a lot to experience from exploring to just chilling while enjoying the warmth from the fire pits over old family stories.
