Glamping summary
The Canvas Lodge at Locks Farm is one of the tents that are located on this working farm found on the Western side of the Isle of Wight. The three main arrival ports on the Island are all within half an hour's drive away and the farm is set in an area of beautiful rolling countryside far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Less than 100 meters from the tents is a tidal saltwater creek, that is part of a protected nature reserve and guests can see huge bass and mullet swim by when the tide is high. There are many cuckoos, nightingales, and barn owls providing beautiful birdsong and there are many rare red squirrels that guests can spot. From the farm, guests can walk to the sea at Thorness Bay and the sand and shingle Gurnard beach, where boats and yachts sail by. Any stay includes a tour of this working farm.
