Glamping summary
The Canvas Frills Lodge at College Farm is one of the tents that are located on this working farm on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. The farm was voted Farm of the Year in 2013 and it makes the perfect glamping location for a southerly trip to the Norfolk Broads. It is also only about 30 minutes' drive from some of Norfolk's best beaches and coastal towns.
The farm is a cattle and sheep farm that also has a number of chickens and is home to Filly the horse. The farm has a bee conservatory that supplies the farm with fresh honey. Guests can enjoy a wonder on the marshes by the river, and assist in looking after the lambs. There is a communal horse grooming session and guests can help with collecting eggs from the hen house. Unfortunately, dogs cannot visit the farm. Children can play in the hay barn, which makes a great spot for bale jumping and tunnelling. There is a trampoline and swings, slides, and a climbing frame. Any stay includes a tour of this working farm.
The farm has an honesty shop that stocks meat, eggs from the farm, the local honey, locally made apple juice, ice cream, and baked cakes and treats.
