Glamping summary
The Canvas Lodge at Readyfields Farm is one of the tents that are located on this working farm on the edge of the beautiful Beck Valley one of the prettiest parts of the county of Nottinghamshire in England. The tents have some very pretty views as a result. The farm has been in the same hands for three generations and a stay here will leave guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Any stay at Readyfields includes a tour of this working farm. The farm is home to a diverse array of animals for guests to meet and feed and there are many things for children to do including a huge sandpit, a giant tyre swing, a trampoline, and of course plenty of farm land for children and adults to run around and explore. Children can also help to collect the eggs, take a farm tour on the tractor, and meet the farmyard residents including a donkey, some ponies, and ducks. As the tents are set in a natural environment, there are many opportunities to catch glimpses of rabbits, brown hares, lapwings, badgers, foxes, roe, and Muntjac deer.
There is a weekly bike ride with the farms bloodhounds, which guests can participate in and the farm has bikes of all sizes for hire with trailers for children. The farm has its own pizza oven and each tent has its own fire pit with BBQ grills for hire. The farm shop is stocked with lots of local produce and is licensed to sell wine and beer.
Calving happens throughout the year and so guests can feed the calves. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the farm due to the fauna found on and around the farm.
