Glamping summary
The Canvas Frills Lodge and hot tub at Hollings Hill is one of the tents that are located on this working farm in Herefordshire that overlooks the Malvern Hills and is just an hour's drive from the Cotswolds. The scenery and countryside is spectacular and the farm offers very peaceful and relaxing glamping.
The farm has many different animals with goats, Holstein-Friesian cows, ponies, and chickens all there to welcome guests. Guests can watch the cows being milked and learn about how the farm is managed. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be accommodated. There is an extra tent that can be used as a communal gathering area. During your stay, you will have unlimited use of the smoke barrel and stew pot, paying only for ingredients, and there are wood-fired ovens in each tent, as well as a rustic outdoor AGA-style cooker for relaxed al fresco meals. The new honesty shop building boasts a good, tasty stock.
Near to the pretty corpse where the tents are located is Rocky Field, home to the nature watch hideout, where badgers, foxes, and deer can be spotted. Further on is the private pond for net fishing, raft building (on request) and messing about with our old boats. Other activities include the Wildlife Challenge and the seasonal wildflower meadow.
Glamping description
The Canvas Frills Lodge has a wood powered hot tub and a double bed, a bunk bed, and a single bed, sleeping a maximum of six guests. There is a private gas-powered shower, a flushing toilet, deck chairs, an outdoor cooker, a hammock, an extended canopy for the wooden floored covered veranda, and cold running water. The lodge comes with a starter pack made up of wood for heating and cooking, starter pack candles, and lamp oil. Kitchen linen is provided and there is ample parking space. Any stay includes a tour of this working farm.
Beyond the farm's boundaries, activities include walking and biking in the Malvern Hills, visits to Great Malvern Priory or Eastnor Castle, and to Malvern town itself with its spring water and wells and specialist shops selling antiques, arts and crafts, and old books.
