Glamping summary

The Log Cabin Frills at Midgham Farm is one of the log cabins that are located on this working farm in the New Forest in Hampshire. The woodland of Midgham pony farm has been in the family since 1790, and new foals are due in May and June. This makes a perfect glamping holiday for pony lovers who can help in the stables and help groom the ponies and alpacas.

Ten minutes' walk away, a long stretch of River Avon is reserved for guests taking a booked coarse fishing lesson (until 15 March) or fly fishing lesson (15 April to 30 Sept). The log cabins and tents are spread out along the forest floor with hammocks between the trees. Trees were removed recently to provide lots of light. For the energetic, there is a cross-country woodland running course, and archery and axe throwing are available across the wood. The woodland also has a number of streams.

There is a new paddock on the farm, a goat play area, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The farm has four designated campfire areas, an espresso machine, and a well-stocked honest shop that runs in the winter. Dogs are welcome from the 1st Feb, on a lead at all times.

The farm larder is well stocked with lots of local produce; including the farms own beef, pork, and many homemade treats. Any stay includes a tour of this working farm

    Great summer glamping

This is without a doubt a fantastic glamping to spend a nice familiy holiday during the warmer season. Generous hosts and the kids could do their thing between the farm animals. Great experience to be free outdoors, walking around and enjou nature.

Back t basics with luxury twist

I would call it a 'back to basics with a luxury twist experience'! And how much we love our children: we hardly saw them. One of them fell in love with the chickens and the others just immersed in everything. We simply fell in love with it!

    Glamtastic camping Show original

An absolutely lovely weekend spent with friends and family in great woodland surroundings. All had a fantastic time exploring the forest, building dens, making camp fires, feeding the animals, enjoying natures outdoor. Sammy the farm host was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The honesty shop stocked everything, even her own Alpaca's wool. Certainly would recommend and plan to return next year. Thank you.
