Glamping summary

SES Quinta Elephant is located in the beautiful Algarve. From Paderne it is a 20 min. drive to the coast, and to Albufeira for example.

The tents are in our spacious garden with Alfarobe, olive, orange, apple, cherry, lemon, almond and fig trees. All tents have a private swimming pool with a luxurious deck, directly accessible from the tent. The tents have a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathrooms, a master bed room with a queen-size mattress and a separate bedroom with bunk beds, both with wonderful mattresses and pillows.

Glamping description

Come and relax in our 2-hectare garden full of Alfarroba trees (carob trees), olive trees, fig trees, pomegranate, orange and lemon trees and much more. Of course a swimming pool is present and you can sit on the chill square, enjoy a drink and a snack.

Beach lovers only have to drive about 15/20 minutes to take a dip in the waves. The possibilities are endless, come and discover it!

 

What can you do with us?

Sports enthusiasts can choose from a variety of activities. Hiking, road biking, mountain biking, golf, motorcycling, tennis, sailing and much more.

Golfers can choose from a variety of beautiful courses: the Algarve has no fewer than 13. Amendoeira Golf Resort is about a 20 minute drive from SES Quinta Elephant Elephant.

Ed (the glamping owner) is a licensed tennis teacher, sailing instructor, swimming teacher, sports masseur, golfplayer and has years experience as a personal trainer.

 

What makes the environment so special?

The Algarve flows into Alentejo, once the largest granary in Europe. A gigantic unspoiled area with beautiful nature, which makes every walking, car or bicycle tour a special experience.

 

What kind of luxury safari tents do we have?

SES Quinta Elephant Elephant has three luxury safari tents, which can accommodate 4 or 6 people. You can walk straight into your private swimming pool from the luxuriously furnished tents with kitchen and bathroom. Each tent has two or three bedrooms, 1 with a queen-size bed (160x200) and can be extended to 2.20 meters for our really tall guests. The other bedroom has a bunk bed (90x200). In short, a wonderful night's sleep is guaranteed!

1) Via the A22. Fastest route, normal traffic 35 min. and 51.1 km. You have to pay toll on this route.

About the area

SES Quinta is located in Paderne / Albufeira. It is the perfect base for sports activities such as tennis, golf, hiking, cycling, etc.

There are beautiful beaches in the area, it is only 15 minutes by car to the nearest beach. The night life is great in Albufeira.

There are also several beautiful authentic towns nearby, such as Silves, Paderne and Guia. Of course there are many options for eating out.

    We liked a whole super quiet relaxing place silvia and eduardo super friendly not lacking a detail we will repeat I recommend it has a swimming pool, games for children, a super well kept outdoor gym thank you!

    Very friendly and hard-working hosts. Everything was like the pictures and beyond! Our own pool was still fun for us and our older children (13 + 14) and the dartboard and table tennis table provided activity and variety.

    Enjoyed our stay at SES Quinta Elephant. Beautiful tent and fully equipped. A quiet campsite with a total of 3 tents. Ed and Sylvia made our stay complete. The only disadvantage is if the wind is in the wrong direction, some noise can be heard from the cars on the nearby highway. Once again, we enjoyed our stay!
