Glamping summary
The Canvas Frills Lodge at East Shilvinghampton Farm is one of the tents that are located on this working farm that is found within the Jurassic Coast world heritage site of Dorset County. East Shilvinghampton nestles at the foot of a peaceful valley offering dramatic views of the green and pretty Dorset countryside.
The farm is just ten minutes from the impressive Chesil Beach and so there are many sea walks available in the area. A variety of crops are grown on the farm and there are lots of animals to meet like the beef suckler cows and calves, chickens, Labradors Tess and Ora, Chase the horse, pet goat Trit-Trot and kids, the ducks Pit, Pat and Paddle, and Pippin, the pony. Also, all making their homes nearby are foxes and their cubs, deer, hares and owls.
The farm larder is well stocked with lots of local produce; including the farms own beef, pork, and many homemade treats. Any stay includes a tour of this working farm.
