Glamping summary

So you're up for a holiday with the family? Go to this glamping in Northern Portugal, where the remains of a vineyard turned into a luxury holiday stay. Enjoy your glamping holiday in a region where it's nice and warm, but not too hot. And you even have a heated swimming pool all for you and your family!

Glamping description

Renting a glamping home in Northern Portugal is definitely a good idea. With an average temperature of 25°C, you can be sure to enjoy the easy life to the fullest! See out over the beautiful valley, a beautiful Portugese setting that you can watch for hours. And on top of that, you don't have to worry about preparing food: the glamping restaurant can prepare breakfast and dinner if you wish!

While you sit down in your sun lounger and unwind, the kids are having fun as well. They will have a lot of space for them to play games on this glamping. But you don't have to limit yourself to our glamping only. During your stay, you're close to two major Portugese cities: Braga and Guimarães. Come and see what these cities have to offer: become enriched by their charm!

Last but not least: this glamping home has a heated swimming pool which is all yours! And there's more: discover what our region has to offer!

There's a lot to do on the quinta. Go have a drink with other guests in the restaurant. A barbecue is organized every week, be sure to join when you're in the occasion. And don't forget to enjoy an Indian rice table, very much appreciated by all of our guests.

This glamping is a great choice for the kids. There is a big grass field where they have all the space to play a nice game of football, badminton, tennis or archery. There is also a big trampoline, a tennis table and a boules pitch. In the preseason and late season, it's even possible to have private swimming lessons from the owner, who has been a swimming teacher for years!

That's not all. Within an hour drive, you'll find two big cities: Braga and Guimarães, Europe's cultural capital of 2012, and Braga. Go to Braga and visit Bom Jesus de Monte, a historic sanctuary which is an important touristic attraction in the city. Climb the stairs to the 116 meter high top and have a great view over the city. Visit Guimarães and visit the Guimarães castle, an 10th century royal fortress that attracts a lot of visitors every year. Be sure to pay a visit: both cities have a lot of things worth seeing, like museums, castles and churches, like you see a lot in Portugal.

On the quinta, you have a lot of activities very close by:

  • Wine tasting combined with a cycling trip through the region
  • Canyoning
  • River running
  • Rafting (only in spring and autumn)
  • Golfing
  • Hiking with an English-speaking guide
  • Fishing on the Tamega river
  • 4x4 buggy tours
  • Wolf tour in a Jeep
  • Horse riding
  • Massage and meditation (on request)
  • Walking the dogs with the owners in the morning

Excellent! 5/5

    Amazing spot!

What a great place !! Beautiful area where you can do a lot. At this glamping you can enjoy peace and (lots of) space. There is a lot of privacy and space around the tent, which gives you the feeling that you are staying alone. The swimming pool makes this place complete. Aitze and Gonne do everything to make you happy. Hospitality at its best. You immediately feel at home at this beautifully beautiful place !!

    European top class!!

Sandwiched between the bustling river "the Tamega" and rustic pine forests, this beautiful paradise is run by the warmest couple with unrivaled hospitality. And whether you have rented a wonderful safari tent with your own private swimming pool or spend your holidays in the holiday home, also with a large private swimming pool, this is "to the max" enjoyment. Although I have traveled freely and have experienced many accommodations, I have never encountered a gem like this. In fact, writing a review like this is very dangerous, because I have the chance to miss out because of too many bookings, but I don't want to deny anyone such an experience. One warning, however: once in this accommodation means to return forever.

Stayed here? Why not write a review?
