Glamping summary

The Koa Camp glamping grounds is situated ideally close to north Devon and the cornish coastlines and one can find it quite enjoyable to explore these areas. You could also catch some stunning views at the south west coast path that includes stretches like Welcombe mouth, Clovelly, Hartland Quay and more.

The picturesque fishing village of Boscastle also lies within reasonable distance that is on the mend after the disastrous floods of 2004.

The Koa also offers many opportunities to explore aquatic adventure sports like surfing, kayaking and one could hire wet suits or boards from the campus store itself. The campus also gives out bikes on hire for those looking to go biking around to explore the area.

With some luck you might even be able to go fishing around the areas and have a great catch that you could later cook on the BBQ.

Glamping description

The Koa camp is built straight out of the dreams of two friends Andy and Sam who have a passion for the outdoors and love the British coast line. With the idea in mind to build a more comfortable, creative and a friendlier alternative to campsites perched all over Britain, they set out to build the ideal glamping get away placed on a great landscape that doubles as a great base of exploration and adventure sports.

The yurts are designed after the traditional Mongolian camping yurts, and are perfectly set up for groups and families and with the arrangements can sleep up to six. The sleeping arrangements include a double bed and two singles, two futons, duvets and pillows, the yurt also has a wood burning stove for the heat to keep you warm and cozy while you cuddle up in bed at night.

Each yurt has a private wooden platform where on can used the barbecue grill to cook up some meat, other utilities like a fire pit and other cooking facilities have been provided too. After a tiring day exploring the landscape one could head to the communal bathrooms just a short walk from the yurts.

On the farm lies the organic food store run by volunteers throughout the year, here one could buy the produce like the vegetables and fruits grown on the farm itself. The store also has a fresh ongoing supply of meats ranging from pork, lamb and chicken that has been sourced from local farmers.

With the availability of adventure, food and beautiful sights to see all so close by one could stay here and be pampered by the glamping experience.
