Glamping description
F stands for Fforest ’s most prestigious glamping site and winner of the AA 5 Pennants Awards and the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation to preserve the best natural environment on this 12 acre piece of pristine land. The flower covered rolling hills are teaming with wildlife. The tent pitches lie on two sites just off the (A481) in mid-Wales and offers two lakes to swim and fish in. Other water sports like canoeing and paddling is also enjoyed in this beautiful country atmosphere, at the lake a stone throw away from the glamping site. Kids and dogs are welcome to enjoy this stunning area with their minders.
The Betty Bell tent is spacious and accommodates up to four people. A double bed sleeps the first two adults and there are also two single camp beds, all with bedding supplied. There is lovely matted flooring with rugs and little touches like lanterns, bedside lamp and electricity for any charging needs.
Next to Betty a little kitchen is available with cast iron two ring gas burner, a Weber BBQ, all crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. There are deck chairs and blankets for lounging outside, bunting and pretty solar lighting too.
Next to the Betty Bell tent there is a new shower block at the site. The ablution block has toilets, showers and a washing up area for our guests.
The glampsite offers almost 10 acres of flat surface, covered in scrubs and trees making the tents feel totally secluded even with their electrical hook-ups. Fires and BBQ on stands are welcome and wood and charcoal are availbable to buy at the campsite.
Our glamping site also has a small well stocked shop with local produce and the basics, running on the honesty system. At the adjacent sports field we offer a gathering spot, which also has a reception area for socializing. This ablution block has organic and chemical toilets, hot showers and under floor heating. The block also has two family rooms and a disabled wetroom. Further to make longer stays more comfortable we offer a laundry with washing and drying machines, deep sinks and a drying room.
The surrounding area offers golf, horse riding, mountain biking and paragliding. For kids there is a small breed farm, caves and water activities nearby.
