Glamping description
Abbey Eco Farm is an award winning, working farm, allowing nature lovers to come and share their enchanted forest/woodland and magic way of wholesome living.
Abbey Home Farm offers many varied options for your unique glamping experience like the the hut-by-the-pond magic cabin. This hut sleeps two adults (over 21's) in a big double bed and offers breathtaking views onto the pond and woodland areas around it. This spot is totally off the grid although you will be provided with a wood-burner, gas-ring and fireplace with firewood included. There is also a supply of utensils for cooking as well and a table and chairs outside the hut for cooking and eating. The hut at the water's edge is a romantic getaway and sanctuary retreat even on rainy days.
This spot also makes use of a compost loo and even a bucket shower. All you need to come with is your bedding, a torch and a nightlight. The glampsite is divided into two sections, a vehicle free site which offers you a wheelbarrow to transport your gear to your hut.
This area in the country has many things on offer outside the farm gates, but why go elsewhere when you can take cooking courses, dine and shop on the farm?
