Wild Boar Wood Campsite is off the beaten track, in West Sussex, about an hour from London and near Ashdown Forrest. The fully equipped Bell tents (great in all types of weather conditions), are well spaced on 5 acres of land, adjacent a large field teaming with wildlife.
The campsite is close to many tourist attractions. In East Sussex you may want to check out the pubs while having some seaside fun, or checking out historical sites such as the spot marking the 1066 Battle of Hastings or the Science Centre in the area.
Glamping description
The Bell tents are 2.4 metres in height, so very easy to stand in. They are a perfect accommodation for families or couples who are in for a totally off the grid glamping experience in nature.
Camping has never been this fun ánd comfortable with comfortable beds voor adults and kids, a carpet, coffee table, Eco Lantern, wood and matches at your disposal. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, a kettle, table ware and cooking equipment.
Each Bell tent has their own fire pit for campfires, for a totally off the grid glamping experience in nature. You might even spot wildlife, including deers, owls, rabbit, foxes, baggers, hawks and so much more!
Outside the bell tents you can find a 25-Litre Drinking Water Dispenser, Cool Box, two Director’s Chairs, picnic table, washing-up bowl, drying rack and a rubbish bin.
There is an outside awning to cook under during rainy days, which is set up close to the communal washing up area. You can BBQ in front of your tent in your fire pit and enjoy preparing meals on an eco wood cooking stove.
The campsite also offers bucket showers (with hot water) and compost toilets (and flushing loos) to ensure as little as possible water is used. For washing, there are only eco soaps and cleaning products.
