Timber Glamping Pod

Each pod is ideally sized for two adults (although two small kids could also fit easily) measuring 2.3m x 2.7m with a small outside landing. The wooden pod is ideal for every weather condition and has electricity points to charge devices as well as a mains light and heater for the cooler nights in winter.

The Quite site pods just require from you to bring your gear, sans the tent, since the inside of your pod is bare bar the carpeted floor. The pods each have a decking area for hanging out, tanning and eating on. Inside each pod and included in the rental rate you have a heater, a mains light and a power point. Now that is glamping style!

The site for the Quiet pods is close to the communal facilities. The smaller field is the quietest and closest to the facilities and services building which includes a washroom with coin operated machines. Most areas on the site have Wi-Fi connection as does the bar on the site. This Quiet Bar also caters for kids. A small shop is also housed on the property.

The Quiet Site, is glamping at its best and so much more. It is situated in a scenic off the main track area on the slopes that overlooks Lake Ullswater. This award winning family business has it all to make your stay comfortable on site. 

We offer full communal facilities, housed in old converted farm buildings, for both areas at the smaller field. We also have an onsite shop and a bar (which has its own play floor and outside field for kids) where we brew our own “Quite beer”. The communal facilities offer showers and baths inclusive in the rate you pay for your stay and are solar powered mostly. The washing room and laundry is centrally located between the male and female bathroom areas. The laundry has coin operated machines and a fridge/freezer and iron with a board is available on request.

We offer plenty to do from playing pool in the pub to reading at our little onsite library. Hiking, with your dog around the wild meadow. You can even pre-book our podnpedal for a three night cycling special where you go glamping at different lakes while sleeping in a glamping pod.

Pooley Bridge, with the nearest shops are 10 min away and the supermarket in Penrith only 15 min away from the site.
