Glamping canvas yurt

“Inside out” glamping is special in more than one way, firstly it is affordable pampering and in a most beautiful area in the heart of the Lake District. The campsite offer 6 Yurts on two campsites in the Borrowdale Valley near Keswick. The one site is called glampsite, in Orange-in-Borrowdale, Keswick and has 4 pitched Yurts and the other two tents, also Yurts are at Seatoller Farm, Borrowdale, Keswick.

The further off the beaten track, the more popular some of the glamping spots become. Inside out on its two separate stunning locations is no exception. Keswick is well known for its Mountains and Valleys. The area is also known for its museums including Wordsworth house and garden and theatre by the lake. One can cycle, climb and fish in the surrounding area. Lake Distilleries is also well worth a visit while you are in the area.

Each Yurt is 16ft large and made from Poly cotton canvas, with a skylight in the oak and ash frame of the tent. Solar lighting is provided for in the evenings. The floors of the Yurts are wooden raised floors covered in Moroccan style rugs, to keep to the traditional feeling of the tent. The tent accommodates a double futon bed and two singles. Bedding consisting of linen sheets and duvets with feather pillows for luxury and style is included.

The fully equipped kitchen is not only functional but boasts a romantic cozy wood burning stove with hotplates (which doubles up as a heater during cooler evenings). A gas hob and grill is provided at no extra cost for the gas.

Turn off from the M6, then at Penrith turn onto the A66 towards Keswick
