Glamping description
Hole Woodlands Campsite has pre-erected tents for glampers who are serious about enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the great outdoors, in Devon.
Each tent has a kitchen/dining shelter, timber walled on three sides with a wooden floor which comes with a table and chairs, a gas cooker, pots and pans, water, cupboard, washing up kit, cutlery, knives, crockery, glasses & general utensils.
The campsite area offers campfire pits provided for cooking. Make sure you store your food items, in the outside kitchenette, in steel or hardy plastic containers as the local wildlife (aka squirrels) tend to help themselves to glampers' gourmet snacks!
There is also a special electric air bed pump where you can stop at to pump up your mattresses. Cycle hire to have fun on the site is available from Granite Way, one of two routes around the area for cycle enthusiasts. Other local activities include archery, canoeing, trout and other fishing.
Places to visit include, Vineyard tours, National Marine Aquarium, Tamar Otter & Wildlife centre, Lydford Gorge, Finch Foundry and Progo, Okehampton and Launceston Castles and Wistmans Wood.
