Your accommodations are set in a 19 foot felt lined Yurt with well appointed sleeping, sitting and eating areas, surrounded by beautiful woods and farmland overlooking a secluded valley.
Glamping description
The Orange Yurt facility is situated on the peaceful Old Chapel in the heart of picturesque Wales. The property overlooks a small secluded valley and has many peaceful walking paths through the woods and surrounding countryside. A sizable fire pit is included for keeping you warm on starry nights.
Patterned after an ancient shelter solution, the Yurt itself is a circular tent like structure 19 feet across and lined with luxurious felt for warmth and comfort. The space is heated by a large wood burning stove, providing warmth enough for all to share. The thick walls allow families to sleep comfortably year round. Additional fire wood is available on site or can be gathered from the surrounding woods.
Tea candles and solar lights provide illumination at night.
The yurt is set up for sleeping 3 adults. One double bed and one single bed is standard, complete with bedding and towels.
Two additional small mattresses are provided for additional sleeping. Bedding must be provided or can be hired (£10 per set).
A water container is provided which can be refilled from a water source in the yard, and a small gas burner for heating water is included.
Cooking, washing and sanitary facilities are available nearby and dining is available on site.
In addition to a number of interesting destinations in the surrounding area, Old Chapel features the Wilderness Trust facility, exhibitions of Stone Carving, and Falconry events.
It provides a spacious and unique sleeping experience in a Yurt style all season tent. Beautiful natural walks on and around the property. Fire pit for outdoor cooking and socializing. It offers lots of space for the family to enjoy. You will have Dining facility on site along cooking facilities. Washing and sanitary facilities are close at hand.
