Glamping yurt and hut

If you want to experience glamping with your family in a luxurious fashion, head to Sarah and Charlie Smith's midland to experience staying at their lovely yurt and its adjoining shepherds hut in Hereford.

Midland is owned by Sarah and Charlie Smith who moved here a few years ago. The Midland spans 4.25 acres with a beautifully kept garden that was featured on the cover of the Royal Horticultural Society Magazine. It is also open to the public on few chosen times in a year.

Far away from the city hassle and the constant noise of traffic from the streets, the is given life by Sarah's horses and free-range chicken pecking around the all day. A little walk away from the yurt lies the beautiful organic small plant nursery.

In Hereford one has the opportunity to hike up the ridge of Crib-y-Garth, better known as the Cat's Back, for some fresh air or if you have a need for an adventure on the river you could go kayaking in the Wye where even first timers can take lessons and get ready to go.

Another wonderful way to explore the spectacular Hereford shire countryside would be pony trekking. Brwyngwyn Riding Centre up on the hills of Hay on the Wye, offers memorable rides for people with multiple levels of riding experience

The finely finished Mongolian yurt is designed to keep you warm in winter and cool during the summer. It also comes with plenty of space, equipped with a french style double bed plus two single beds the yurt can accommodate four persons.

Adjoining the yurt lies the shepherds hut that is included with the yurt. The hut is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom facilities where the guests can take a hot shower after a day out trekking.
