Glamping summary
The Canvas Frills Lodge with Hot Tub, at Hoeve De Pippert is one of the tents that are located on this working farm, in the Gelderland area of the Netherlands. The farm is located directly opposite Ophemert Castle, and the farm dates back to the 16th century whilst the farm buildings date back to 1845.
Any stay at Hoeve De Pippert includes a tour of this working dairy farm that uses the latest and most modern farming methods. The owners, the Kranendonk family, focus on traditional farming values alongside modern techniques and have 140 hectares of land, with 180 cows and around 130 calves. The cows are milked using fully automated Dutch machines. Children can help look after the calves and they can also help to collect the fresh eggs from the chickens. There is a large group tent available for cosy campfires and group activities.
