Any stay at Hoeve Banenburg includes a tour of this working traditional Dutch dairy farm. The farm is a mixed farm with around 60 dairy cows, cattle for beer, and fields for growing corn, cauliflower, and potatoes.
The cows are kept in the nearby Vrouwenpolder nature reserve, which is very close to the farm. They stay there for most of the summer. Guests can visit the cows and reach the reserve very easily and it is not far away. Guests can also take a bike tour from the farm and the beach. The farm has a new stable with many horses and guests can help take care of the horses, walk with the ponies, or take riding lessons. The farm also has an original hayloft, the perfect place for children to play.
